About the Role
As a General Practitioner, you will enjoy the support of a highly effective team that includes a full-time nurse, a geriatrician, and experienced administrative staff. Your days will be fulfilling and balanced, centred around engaging consultations and comprehensive patient reviews.
Based in at a residential aged care facility in Cairns, this role offers the opportunity to connect deeply with residents, contribute meaningfully to their care, and become an integral part of the local healthcare community while enjoying the unique lifestyle that Cairns provides.
What We’re Looking For
- An experienced General Practitioner with a passion in aged care.
- Current AHPRA registration without conditions.
- GPs with RACGP or ACRRM fellowship, and those in the process of fellowship are encouraged to apply.
What We’re Offering
In addition to offering the flexibility of choosing which 2 days you’d like to work, we’re also able to offer:
- $250 p/h for GPs with fellowship.
- $220 p/h for GPs in the process of fellowship.
- Support of an RN to accompany you on your rounds.
- Choose what days you would like to work.
- Contribute to a growing organisation and make a difference in the lives of aged care residents.
