Join a dedicated Aboriginal Medical Service providing culturally safe, high-quality healthcare to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across remote Queensland. Through Telehealth, you’ll help ensure continuity of care for patients in communities where access to face-to-face GP services is limited, while enjoying the flexibility of working from home and maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
What’s on Offer
- $1,500 per day
- Available from 03 August 2026
- Minimum 3-week placement
- Monday to Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (QLD Time)
- No on-call, after-hours, or weekend work
- Work from home – laptop provided
- Perfect locum role for Rural GP passionate about helping the community, but maybe needing a break from the travel
Requirements
- Specialist AHPRA Registration in General Practice (FRACGP/FACRRM)
- AMS experience or experience working with remote communities is essential
- Experience with Communicare is helpful.
